BJPS PTA - Parent Teacher Association

Parents are welcome to arrange meetings with SLT and they will organise these on a priority basis relating to the issues you bring to them, directly or through the parent governors.

For other school related inquiries, the PTA are available.

What is the PTA?

The PTA is a great way to bring together parents and teachers to work on the development of school areas as well as raise funds to support the school.

Who is on the PTA?

The PTA is made up of a mixture of parents and teachers. Key members of the PTA are:

Fundraising Goals

The PTA aim to raise £60,000 for the school's outside areas. This includes the main playground and the EYFS outside areas. The PTA will be working directly with a playground design company for this project.

We are also working on buying and selling summer dresses (uniform) for the school.

Previous And Upcoming Events

The PTA was established in January 2019. To date we have had many successful events as well as sending home Tzedakah boxes in time for Purim. These were returned to school filled after children had followed the instructions to make and decorate them. We have made many events posters which are available to view on the Events section of our School website HERE.

World book day in school kicked off with a fabulous stay and read session. The children and parents were offered chocolate milk and a cookie while they listened to a Julia Donaldson book. It was a huge success and children have requested we do it again!

Our parents have also been invited to a Bingo evening in the school hall, with great prizes and Pagoda Chinese served. Feedback was great and a significant amount of money was raised that night. Thank you once again.
