Chumash
Our Chumash curriculum provides the core Knowledge, Skills and Understanding base for the learning of Torah SheBiksav and is complemented by a methodology that promotes discovery and curiosity. Taamei Hamikra are introduced from Year 2 to aid the punctuation of the Pesukim and cues are provided for the pupils to make sense of the text without needing to be reliant on rote translation.
Specific skills and vocabulary are reinforced through lessons and revision at home, and pupils are tested on these throughout the year.
